Careful, papercrafts may become a preoccupation - a good one.
Playing with papercrafts is something unique and different. The supplies (and skills) are readily available, cheap and the results make for a big impact.
Here are the things you will need:
Paper - Anywhere from thick paper (32lb) to cardstock (65lb-100 lbs)
Excato knife and cutting mat or scissors
Glue - I use a glue stick or white glue. You can also use double side tape.
Ruler and something sharpish (like the back of your excato knife) Use these tools to score your fold lines.

The designs can be used as toys, decorations, and as gift boxes or night lights. (make sure to use only LED lights) There are so many uses you are sure to find new ones all the time.
